Cubs beat Knights

Sorry I am so late on posting this one-but I did manage to get it up before today's game...the Cubs beat the Knights last Saturday. We were all a little nervous in the beginning as we were only up by one run after the first inning. However, after that inning the Cubs took the game away and there was no way for the Knights to catch up. Great job boys! Wyatt earned the game ball for this game, way to go Wyatt!

Cubs play double header and remain undefeated!

Saturday was a great day for playing baseball. We faced out toughest opponents yet-the Mudcats! The boys (and parents) have been looking forward to this game all season. With some great hitting, base running and plays in the field the Cubs pulled out a win 21-20! The boys were down at several points in the game but managed to rally back and take over those Mudcats! This week marked a double header and they followed up their first game by defeating the Reds, way to go Cubs!

Another win for the Cubs!

The cubs had another great game with another big win! The final score was 18-1 and they called the game after 3 innings. They played the Knights an older team like them, but with some awesome hitting and great fielding they only let them score one run! Great job boys, rest up for next week's double header!

Frank was our MVP today and had some great fielding. He made a great out with a pop fly catch at the mound, way to go!

and it's US!!! The boys had another great game this past Saturday beating the other Cubs 21-0. There was some great hitting and base running-I think we are all looking forward to seeing the boys doing some fielding this next game! Great job Cubs!
